Evaluation of two Particular Textbooks: New Headway Intermediate, Time to Talk 2

Abstract

The Bachelor Thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with theory of textbooks, what function they have and how they are used by their users- learners and teachers. The substantial part forms methods of evaluation of textbooks and criteria for selection of the suitable textbook. According to the selected criteria in the theoretical part two chosen language textbooks are evaluated and compared. The practical part is based on the detailed description and comparison of these textbooks and especially on the analysis and evaluation of both textbooks according to main criteria.
