Speaking in English Classes - Focus on Communication Strategies

Abstract

This thesis deals with speaking in English classes, specifically with communication strategies. The aim of the thesis is to find out whether and which communication strategies are used by learners the most and how teachers develop them. The theoretical part presents the types of communication strategies, benefits of their use and ways teacher can encourage learners to use them. The practical part reveals the outcomes of the research and presents the findings.
