Abstrakt
The thesis is concerned with the Victorian era and its values. The main aim of the paper is the analysis of The Children's Book by A. S. Byatt, which depicts the Victorian era, lifestyle, and values. The analysis is focused on the children of the story, the impact of society on their lives, and the approach of Victorian people towards charitability.
