Locating undesirable facilities

Abstract

The paper presents a way of solving the problem of locating facilities with possible undersirable effects on environment. The problem is transformed into a task of looking for solutions that are minimum based on three points of view: total costs, opposition of inhabitants, maximum individual disutility . A model was established in order to achieve this and a computer program was implemented. The results are presented in this paper.
