dc.description.abstractCílem této práce je zmapovat postavení konferenčního tlumočníka ve společnosti. Nejprve se práce věnuje historii tlumočení. Poté definuje, co přesně tlumočení je, popipsuje tlumočnický proces a definuje jednotlivé druhy tlumočení. Dále tato práce popisuje faktory ovlivňující profesi a výkon tlumočníka a zabývá se tlumočnickou etikou. Závěr teoretické části se soustředí na postavení českého tlumočníka v rámci Evropské Unie. Praktická část této práce je založená na výzkumu zjišťujícím názory tlumočníků pomocí dotazníků.cze
dc.description.abstract-translatedThe aim of this work is to map the role of the conference interpreter in the society. The history of interpreting is briefly described. Then it is defined what exactly interpreting is, the interpreting process is described and the individual types of interpreting are distinguished. Further, this paper reveals the factors influencing the interpreter´s work and deals with the ethics of the profession. The final chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the position of the Czech interpreters in the European Union. Practical part of this paper is based on the survey performed among interpreters with the method of questionnaires.eng
