Abstrakt
Daminozide (DM) is widely used plant growth regulator for treatment of fruit trees, ornamental plants or vegetable. DM itself is electrochemically non-active compound therefore it must be hydrolyzed before its voltammetric analysis. Generally, alkaline hydrolysis of DM is recommended. For the first time, acidic hydrolysis, which represents easier way without creation of possible volatile hydrolysis products, was used in the present paper. Boron-doped diamond electrode was employed as a sensitive tool for analysis of 1,1-dimethylhydrazine, which was identified as a hydrolysis product of DM, with high sensitivity.
