Abstrakt:
The data set of critical illness insurance policies from the commercial insurance company is studied by survival analysis. Specifically, the Cox proportional hazard model is used to investigate the influence of the gender, age and the place of residence of the policyholder on the time to occurrence of the insured event. Beside the investigation of gender influence, the approximately homogeneous age groups and the groups of the regions due to the risk of occurrence of the insured event are created.
