dc.description.abstract |
This paper describes one method for a numerical solution of a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. The kernel function has a special type of singularity called the diagonal one. The main result of this paper is the error estimation of the numerical solution based on the Nystrom method with singularity subtraction. The error estimate is compared to numerical examples. The error behavior and computing time of the Nytrom method is compared with alternative method. |
