Předmětem práce je socha Jupitera, ze státního zámku Uherčice. Mezi lety 1955-1970 bylo sochařské dílo několikrát vandalsky poničeno, tak došlo k nenávratným ztrátám originálu. Při restaurátorském zásahu v roku 1979 byly doplněny chybějící částí, jako je hlava a část ruky. Tímto zásahem došlo k změně kompozice a interpretace díla.
Bakalářská práce se zabývá komplexním restaurováním sochy Jupitera a jejího postamentu, v minulosti umístněných v arkádovém nádvoří zámku Uherčice.
Hlavním cílem bylo provést restaurování a nadstandardní průzkum za použití invazivních a neinvazivních metod, výsledky průzkumu byly základními pilíři pro stanovení koncepce restaurátorského zásahu.
Cílem zásahů bylo navrácení hmotové i vizuální integrity díla. Restaurování nevybočuje z nastavené koncepce předchozích zásahů, a má na zřeteli i koncepci celkové obnovy zámku. Ideou je umístit zrestaurovaná sochařská díla, na místo jejich posledního, historicky doloženého umístění ze začátku 20. století.
Rozšířená část Bakalářské práce je zaměřená na základní průzkum a shromáždění informací o ostatních sochařských dílech. Předkládaná práce má v neposlední radě sloužit jako relevantní podklad při dalších průzkumech a následném restaurování, ostatních sochařských děl. |

The object of this work is a sculpture of Jupiter with a pedestal from the State Castle of Uherčice. Between 1955-70 the sculpture was damaged several times by vandals due to which irreversible losses of the original substance occurred. During the restoration in 1979 missing parts such as the head and a part of an arm were added. As a consequence of this intervention, the overall composition and the interpretation of the sculptural work changed.
The bachelor thesis deals with the complex restoration of the sculpture of Jupiter and its pedestal, which were placed in the arcade courtyard of the Castle of Uherčice.
The main goal was to carry out a model restoration, above-standard investigation with the use of invasive as well as non-invasive methods.
The aim of the treatment was to restore the mass and visual integrity of the sculptural work. The conception of the intervention corresponds with the ideas of previous restorations and considers the conception of the total renovation of the castle. The idea is to place the restored sculptural works to the place of their last historically documented placement from the begin of the 20th century.
The extended part of the bachelor thesis is focused on the basic investigation and collecting information about the other sculptural works. The presented work should also serve as a relevant basis for other investigations and future restoration of other sculptural works. |

Student představil svoji práce formou prezentace, průběžně reagoval na dotazy a dílčí připomínky v posudcích vedoucího práce a oponenta. Vzhledem k pozitivnímu hodnocení v obou posudcích a průběhu obhajoby navrhujeme hodnocení výborně. |
