dc.description.abstract-translated	The main phases and circumstances of the life of the Faculty since its foundation up to present, thus the development since the further education study programme to the faculty within a university, is mentioned and evaluated. The ideological bases resulting in its foundation are outlined in the context of history of restoration in the Czech lands and in European countries. The specific way of the development of the Faculty is remembered as it is derived from the concept of the Czech School of Restoration, even if revising it in some points. The development of new fields of study, which had not been included in the University study programmes in the Czech Republic before the Faculty was established, is described, namely Restoration and Conservation of Paper, Bookbinding and Documents and Restoration of Artworks on Paper.	eng
