This research was focused on preparation of pigments doped with ions of lanthanides with the general formula Sn0.752Co0.08P0.16Ln0.008O2, where Ln = Ce, Pr, Tb. These pigments were synthesized by solid state reactions at high calcination temperatures of 1400-1500°C. The pigments were evaluated from the standpoint of their structure, colour properties and particle size distribution.
