dc.description.abstract	Kniha shrnuje poznatky získané v průběhu restaurátorské a pedagogické činnosti Jakuba Ďoubala, který měl vzácnou příležitost podílet se na obnově řady významných památkových objektů v Kutné Hoře a okolí a také účastnit se výzkumu v oblasti technologie a technik restaurování. K nejvýznamnějším projektům patří spolupráce na restaurování vnějšího pláště chrámu sv. Barbory, restaurování sousoší před jezuitskou kolejí nebo vedení restaurátorských prací na Kamenné kašně v rámci pedagogického působení na Fakultě restaurování Univerzity Pardubice. Tato publikace je rozdělená do dvou částí. První si klade za cíl zprostředkovat získané vědomosti týkající se restaurování a ochrany kamenných památek, které je možné aplikovat v obecné rovině při péči o památky v regionu i mimo něj. Druhá část je věnovaná vybraným restaurátorským akcím, kde autor zachycuje poznatky shromážděné v průběhu restaurování, které mohou být zajímavým příspěvkem do nekonečné skládačky historie památek Kutné Hory.	cze

dc.description.abstract-translated	This book summarizes findings acquired during the course of restoration and pedagogical activity of Jakub Ďoubal, who had the unique opportunity to participate on the restoration of a number of significant monuments. Some of the most important projects include cooperation on the restoration of the outer shell of the church of St. Barbara in Kutná Hora, cooperation on the restoration of the sculptural group in front of the Jesuit College and the management of restoration works on the Stone Fountain within his work as a teacher at the Faculty of Restoration, University of Pardubice. This publication aims at presenting some of the findings related to the possibilities of restoration and protection of stone monuments. Aside from findings that can, to a certain extent, be applied on a general level when restoring other works of art in the region, the book contains some specific information acquired during the restoration of the individual works of art. This information may be an interesting contribution to the never-ending jigsaw of the history of monuments in the Kutná Hora region. The text is divided into chapters that deal with the historical context of the origin of stone monuments in the region, with approaches to the restoration of sculptural works of art since the 19th century until today and with the materials used. It takes a close look at Kutná Hora limestone, its qualities, the causes and effects of corrosion and the possibilities of its restoration. The latter part of the book describes procedures, and conceptions of restoration and the results of art history and material research related to selected monuments that were restored between 2003 and 2014.	eng
