Abstract:
The work focuses on Montessori pedagogy along with objectives of elementary education in the Czech Republic. It deals with the basic principles and underlying rules governing Montessori pedagogy as well as the general objectives of elementary education and objectives of English language acquisition. These objectives are discussed in the context of Montessori education.
