The topic of this work is game and creativity. The work is based on the book by Eugen Fink - Game as a Symbol of the World and Oasis of "Happiness. The game is often considered as an margine phenomenon, as a relaxation without responsibilities and worries of ordinary days. The purpose of this essay is to refer to the fact that the game is an inherent part of our lives and can be seen as a respectful subject of philosophical discussion. The relationship between a human being and the World can be shown in the game. According to Fink the game is an atribute of symbolic representation and the game itself becomes a symbol. Therefore, it cannot be seen as a mere relaxation from work. The play is connected with cult and sanctity and that is the reason why I concetrate on it in my work. The original form of the game and the moment of illusoriness is manifested in the cult and this moment is always the part of the game. Even in this part of my work we can see that the game is not merely a marginal phenomenon because human instinct is associated not only with worshipping of gods, but also with a game instinct. Thanks to the game man could encounter supernatural powers during the ritual of the game as early as in the ancient times of history. |
