dc.description.abstract |

Releasing of relations after November 1989 came with consequences in form of plentiful publishing of before forbidden writers and a lot of translating literature. The main marketing crowd-puller of the literary scene became Czech writers, who were forbidden or who were writing at the time of exile. But the public still had been pulled by writers, who were writing even during the last regime. The number of starting writers was really scanty. It goes without saying that between "the young blood" appeared even to today’s producing and popular authors. The prosaist Miloš Urban, whose novel work is the topic of this paper, belonges to them, too. In the first chapter I am putting my mind to mapping a historical literary context of his work, in the second chapter it is an analysis of novels itself. The thematic heart of the paper is analysis of narrative techniques and an interpretation of their part in the general idea of the piece. I was trying to describe only that narrative techniques, that are in my opinion specific and the most important for his production. During an interpretation of a significant plan of literature piece, narrative techniques play a key role. Miloš Urban knows exactly, which techniques he should choose to reach desirable results and he treats with it proportionately in a way how the story wants to. |
