dc.description.abstract The paper presents two programs for teaching methods of non-linear programming. The model example is a chemical reactor in which a consecutive or reversible reaction takes place. The student's task consists in finding the optimum regime for the reactor, where according to the algorithm of search of the chosen method the independent variable is introduced and the program computes the gradually stabilizing regulated quantity, i.e. the dependent variable. The individual variables are loaded with generated random error, which brings the model closer to real situations. eng
