Cykloturistika - nadějná forma šetrného cestovního ruchu pro území České republiky?

Abstract

After the 1989-th year our society was udergone to the extensive changes. The tourism industry was naturaly hiden by them too. The times when the labour union (trade`s) rekreation was flourishing, the same as a building of the second-dwelling (cottages), are already gone. From the blobal point of view there are no doubts that our coutry has a tendency to approach the trends the Western European countries, which will surely influence the tourism industry too. The development of a society indicates that a new view on the tourism industry is not just the excesses but the objective result of reacting of a certain stage in the development of the society. In 1998 starts to form program of development of alternative forms of tourism and travelling, which is started by pilot project long-distance cyclistroad Praha -Vídeň. This project to support the alternative forms of tourism and restoring to life of rural are stimulated wide public and led to present boom in the cyclist transport.
