Influence of R&D Knowledge Resources on Manufacturing Firms´ Performance in the Czech Republic

Abstract

This paper focuses on the ways of new knowledge obtaining and their affecting of the performance factors and firms´ innovative abilities. Two multiple linear regression models were used to analyze the firms situation in selected branches of manufacturing industry in the Czech Republic. The results confirmed that innovations are not made in isolation, but innovations are created and disseminated effectively through collaboration which ensures the formation of positive knowledge spill-over effects.
