Approaches to teaching: neophyte Czech teachers vs. their U.S./British colleagues

Abstract

A goal that I had before I started to write her thesis, was to get acquainted with young people who are starting to work as English teachers in different types of schools. I have compiled a set of questions which I believe that faithfully displays the total feelings shared by the young teacher - whether relevant pedagogical education or mere intern - when to get acquainted with the authentic environment of schools as educational and social institutions. The idea to ascertain the views of the Czechs and native brings with it the possibility of a way to display consensus and differences in access of these people to their profession.
