dc.description.abstract	The main aim of this paper is to analyse love triangles in two Irish plays - Lady Augusta Gregory's Grania and J. M. Synge's In the Shadow of the Glen. First of all, the theoretical part provides readers with historical and cultural background of the late 19th and early 20th century in Ireland. The Irish Literary Revival and formation of the Abbey Theatre will be included. Attention will be paid to the origins of both plays, their influences on society at that time and the perception of the main heroines. The analytical part will focus on gender roles of love triangles in the individual plays. The main aim is to identify the main heroines' exceptional roles and their final position within the triangle.	eng
dc.description.abstract-translated	Hlavním tématem této práce je analyzovat milostné trojúhelníky v irských hrách - Grania od Lady Augusty Gregory a Ve stínu doliny od Johna Millingtona Synge. V úvodní části poskytne teoretická část historické a kulturní pozadí na přelomu 19. a 20. století v Irsku a poté bude pozornost věnována Irskému národnímu obrození a vzniku divadla Abbey Theatre. Dále budou představeny výše uvedené hry z hlediska jejich vzniku a vnímání her a hlavních hrdinek tehdejší společností. Analytická část bude věnována jednotlivým hrám a jejich podrobnému rozboru vztahů v milostných trojúhelnících. Hlavním cílem této práce je vyhodnotit výjimečné role hlavních hrdinek v jejich konečném postavení v rámci milostných trojúhelníků.	cze
