dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku syndromu diabetické nohy u seniorů. Teoretická část je věnována definici onemocnění diabetes mellitus, dále se pak zaměřuje již přímo na diabetes mellitus II. typu, na jeho příčiny, příznaky, diagnostiku, léčbu a komplikace, a konkrétně pak na samotný SDN. V textu jsou též uvedena specifika stáří, je zde vymezen pojem edukace. Průzkumná část práce je zaměřena na znalosti pacientů v oblasti péče o dolní končetiny a informace o SDN, které jsou zjišťovány pomocí dotazníku. Výsledky poukazují na nedostatečnost edukace v oblasti projevů SDN, nevhodnosti promazávání nohou i mezi prsty a důležitosti barvy ponožek. Potřeba je se nadále zaměřit na správné techniky stříhání nehtů, výběr vhodné obuvi a na potíže, komplikace hrozící při dekompenzaci DM.	cze
dc.description.abstract-translated	The bachelor's thesis is focused on the issue of diabetic foot syndrome in the elderly. The theoretical part is devoted to the definition of the disease diabetes mellitus, then it focuses on diabetes mellitus II. type, its causes, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and complications, specifically diabetic foot syndrome itself. The specifics of age are also given in the text, the concept of education is defined here. The exploratory part of the work is focused on patients' knowledge in the area of lower limb care and information about diabetic foot syndrome, which is ascertained using a questionnaire. The results point to the inadequacy of education in the field of diabetic foot syndrome manifestations, the inappropriateness of lubricating the feet and between the toes, and the importance of the color of the socks. There is a need to continue to focus on the correct nail cutting techniques, the selection of appropriate footwear and the difficulties and complications that may occur during DM decompensation.	eng
