Developing Speaking Skills in Adult Learners of English

Abstract

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of developing speaking skills in adult learners of the English language with focus on classroom speaking activities. The aim of the theoretical part is to introduce main aspects of teaching speaking to adult learners of English. The aim of the practical part is to design eight speaking activities aimed at developing speaking skills, use these in practice, analyze them and suggest possible modifications, if necessary. The practical part is based on an action research.
