Abstrakt
This master's thesis provides a comparative analysis of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) utilisation across African countries. The mixed-methods approach is clear: ICT development indicators such as mobile and fixed broadband subscriptions, internet usage, and access to electricity are evaluated. Quantitative methods, including descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, cluster analysis, and regression modelling, were applied to assess structural patterns, while qualitative analysis explored national policy frameworks and strategic gaps. The findings reveal deep regional disparities in digital inclusion and infrastructure. The results conclusively show that the thesis presents seven evidence-based policy recommendations to support inclusive and sustainable ICT development.
