dc.description.abstract	Tato práce pojednává o problematice stáří a spokojenosti seniorů se svým životem, zejména v psychické a sociální oblasti. Je rozdělena do dvou částí. V první, teoretické, se zabývám vymezením pojmu stáří a stárnutí, kognitivními, osobnostními a emočními změnami ve stáří. Dále je zde popsána sociální stránka života seniora, ageizmus a terminální stádium života. Ve druhé, výzkumné části práce, je popsána metodika výzkumu a současně jsou interpretovány výsledky zjištěné na základě dotazníkové metody. Výsledky jsou zpracovány v tabulkách, grafech a slovně popsány. V diskuzi, která je na konci výzkumné části, jsou rozebrány předem stanovené výzkumné záměry.	cze
dc.description.abstract-translated	This work considers the problems surrounding old age and the satisfaction of senior citizens with their life especially with regard to psychological and social considerations. It is divided into two sections. In the first, theoretical section, I define old age and aging and consider the cognitive, emotional, and personality changes of old age. This section also describes the social side of a senior citizen's life, ageism, and the terminal stage of life. In the second, research-based section of the work, the research methodology is described and the results obtained from a questionnaire method are interpreted. The results are presented in tables and graphs and are described in written form. A discussion at the end of the research section analyses the pre-determined aims of the research.	eng
