Abstract

This is a book review of the book by Håkan Edström and Jacob Westberg, Swedish scholars. The review focuses on rotted environment in the post-communist Europe. This environment is know not only for bulling of academics but for unrealistic public policy. Also, the book presents defense and military strategies in post-communist EU´s countries but scholars must be always aware of corruption in thinking of public institutions and leading elites. In particular, Czechia has been affected by this plague. Plans and strategies are often considered as fig leaf for hidden agenda by the elites milking public budgets.
