Abstrakt
The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the Cooperative Principle on a Reddit Forum, specifically the non-observance of Maxims. The first part of the thesis introduces information regarding computer-mediated communication, Maxims of conversation, implicature, and the Reddit forum will be introduced. The practical part focuses on the analysis of selected comments from the discussions and tries to find the patterns of Maxim non-observance.
