Abstrakt
This study is focused on urban development planning to help in addressing various challengesfacing the governments of Ghana in identifying hot spots for rapid urban development. Strategic allocation of resources to improve standard of living in zongos and inner cities. GIS will enable us choose the suitable lands for proper accessibility programs which will resolve the pressing social intervention needs in various communities in Ghana.Strategic Environmental Assesment (SEA) can be done base on the database captured through GIS and spartial data to allow quality land impact assesment for resttlement programs design to decongest major cities. Land administrations digital database will help minimize land title conflicts which are slowing down development.
