Úvodní část této bakalářské práce je zaměřena na strukturu a hlavní funkce glutathionu. V hlavní části práce je popsána struktura a funkce transkripčního faktoru Nrf2. Jeho hlavní funkce popsána v této práci se týká metabolismu glutathionu, kde se účastní jeho syntézy a indukuje aktivitu důležitých enzymů, jako je glutathion reduktáza a glutathion S-transferáza. Dále je popsána jeho funkce v buňce během oxidačního stresu, zánětu, ale také v buněčné smrti. |

The introductory part of this bachelor's thesis is focused on the structure and main functions of glutathione. In the main part of the thesis, the structure and functions of the transcription factor Nrf2 are described. Its main function described in this work relates to glutathione metabolism, where it participates in its synthesis and induces the activity of important enzymes such as glutathione reductase and glutathione S-transferase. Furthermore, its function in the cell during oxidative stress, inflammation, as well as cell death, is described. |
