Disoluční studie připravených tobolek byla provedena s modelovým léčivem v médiích simulujících průchod tobolky gastrointestinálním traktem - prostředí žaludku pH 1,2 a prostředí tlustého střeva pH 6,8. |

This thesis deals with the possibilities of acid-resistant drug treatment. It focuses on the use of different polymeric materials for the preparation of enterosolvent capsules using FDM 3D printing. The aim of the thesis was to study the effect of the polymeric materials used on the 3D printing process and subsequently to observe the drug release profile of the prepared capsules.
The materials used for capsule preparation (powder, filaments) and the capsules themselves were studied using an optical microscope.
The materials used for capsule preparation (powder, filaments) and the capsules themselves were studied using an optical microscope. The dissolution study of the prepared capsules was performed with the model drug in media simulating the passage of the capsule through the gastrointestinal tract - gastric environment pH 1,2 and colonic environment pH 6,8. The amount of released model drug was determined by UV/VIS spectroscopy. Capsules based on AffinisolTM with the addition of sodium alginate or citrus pectin were compared. Based on the obtained dissolution profiles, the effect of different natural materials on the mechanism and rate of release of the model drug from the prepared capsules was evaluated. |
