dc.description.abstract |

dc.description.abstract-translated |
Presentation as a special spoken text type is characterized, in each speech community, by certain similarities and differences. But a presentation which is rich in content and tailored for the audience is interwoven with a number of preformulated conversational routines that are typical of a given culture. In the first part of the study, the author gives an overview of the categorizations of conversational routines from the phraseology and pragmatic point of view. The objective of the second part is to reveal the frequently recurring conversational routines obtained from an authentic material characterizing successful presentations in the Russian and the German languages; a further goal is to compare them at intercultural, pragmatic and stylistic levels. |
