dc.description.abstract |

dc.description.abstract-translated |
The paper focuses on the subject of how intertextuality concerning two analysed pieces – “Mademoiselle de Scudéri” by E.T.A. Hoffmann and “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer” by Patrick Süskind - can be understood as transculturalism. In addition, it tries to answer the question of whether the protagonists in both texts, René Cardillac and Jean-Baptiste Grenouille, are brilliant murderers or excellent artists and to what extent their artistic inclinations determine their murderous nature. |
