This article presents one part of Internet Protocol Network Management of sources. It deals with the optimal assigning of the link capacity for IP traffics. Parameters Quality of Service, must be complied. We use Effective Bandwidth of input flow to determine needed capacity. We will show the advantages of Effective Bandwidth
compared to Queueing Theory in design of well-known model M/D/1. Finally we will show
how we have used this method for the design of Triple traffic in core node in terms of the project for Slovak provider T-COM. |
