Príspevok sa zaoberá cudzím v diele slovensko-švajčiarskej autorky Ireny Brežnej Die undankbare Fremde (2012). Vychádza pritom z vnímania a kategorizovania cudzieho podľa nemeckého fenomenológa Bernharda Waldenfelsa. Bližšie sa zameriava na kategóriu štrukturálneho cudzieho (Waldenfels), ktorá zahŕňa aj kultúrne cudzie. Osobitnú pozornosť venuje problematizovaniu jazyka, ktorý je v tomto románe prepojený s tvorbou identity v novom (kultúrnom) prostredí a kultúrnou pamäťou. |

The contribution is focused on the problem of “other” in the work of the Slovakian-Swiss
authoress Irena Brežná “Die undankbare Fremde” (2012). It is based on the categorization
and approach to the “other” of the German phenomenologist Bernhard Waldensfels. The text
pays attention to the category of “structural other” which covers “cultural other” too. The
special attention is given to the problem of language, connected with the identity creation in
new cultural environment and cultural memory. |
