všem aspektům pracovní motivace a demotivace povolání všeobecné sestry a zároveň prozkoumat pracovní spokojenost a nespokojenost.

In terms of training and requirements for professional performance, nursing ranks among very demanding professions and requires a high level of psychological resistance and also a certain level of self-composure. That is why
on-the-job satisfaction which is closely related to motivation is very important. Its lack results not only in demotivation but also dissatisfaction with the job. This research aims at understanding
all aspects of on-the job de/motivation in the job of general nurses and also to examine their dissatisfaction/satisfaction. For these reasons a qualitative researchmethod (semi-structured interview) was selected. Its personal nature
helps address the issue in depth. This research focused on partner/married couples whose time together differed and with one person of the (married) couple working as a general nurse. The
total number of respondents was 16,
of which 8 women-nurses and 8 men, partners of nurses. The research showed that the level of their job exigency and unfavourable atmosphere at work related to team disunity often demotivates
the respondents and, in contrast, joy from work which offers self-realization motivates them. The demotivation/motivation on the job is closely tied with satisfaction which the respondents relate not only to the adequate remuneration but also the interest in their job. Increasing
administration together with the
dissatisfaction with poor remuneration and atmosphere at work causes the respondents to feel dissatisfied. The respondents are very critical to their profession, more than their partners. This attitude is primarily based upon their
demotivation and professional dissatisfaction
caused not only by poor financial compensation and increasing pressure from the management of health facilities but, in particular, by the on-the-job atmosphere in their departments. |
