dc.description.abstract-translated |
The development of science, technologies and human resources significantly influences the economic and technological development in current knowledge society. This article aims to analyze and evaluate the impact of demographic trends on the knowledge continuity in the Czech Republic. Efficient investment in knowledge is the key for growth in the medium and long term. However, if these employees leave the organization, their
knowledge will leave with them impacting competitive advantage. Based on the demographic age index (108%), index of burden, index of economic dependence, there is a need for organizations to monitor the level of knowledge sharing between generations of employees and to analyze which workers with such knowledge leave. The objective was achieved through the analysis of secondary and primary data sources. One of the
conclusions of the article is that the proper ensuring of knowledge continuity of retiring
workers can retain the knowledge and also the made investments will not be lost. |
