První kapitola diplomové práce rozebírá historii ČSA, a.s., jejich organizační strukturu a letadlový park. Druhá kapitola se zabývá mezinárodní spoluprací ČSA s jinými leteckými dopravci. Třetí analyzuje hospodaření Českých aerolinií za rok 1996 s důrazem na jednotlivé položky nákladů, výnosů a jejich vliv na celkový hospodářský výsledek. Čtvrtá kapitola teoreticky
popisuje ekonomické a výkonové ukazatele používané v letecké dopravě a vysvětluje jejich výpočet. V páté části se porovnávají vybrané ekonomické a výkonové ukazatele se šesti různě velkými společnostmi, členy AEA. V závěrečné části se popisují problémy spojené se vstupem do EU. |

The first chapter of my diploma work analyze the history of ČSA, a.s., their organization and the air fleet. The main aim of the second chapter is the international cooperation of ČSA with other air carriers. The third chapter analyze the economy situation of the ČSA in year 1996. Some item s of coast and yields and their effect on the total economic return are accentuated there.
The fourth chapter describe some indexes using in the air transport. They explain their calculation. Main indexes of the six companies are compared in the five part of the work. The problems of the entrance into EU are described in
