The diploma thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part is dedicated to transfers of sculptural works. After defining key terms and description of representative examples of the problem, it comments statutory requirements and reasons for the transfer. It describes the transfer as restoration task. The practical part of the thesis describes the entire process of restoration of the polychrome stone sculpture of Virgin Mary the Victorious from Orle placed in the church of st. George on Three drums. |
