Práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení vztahu mezi reminiscenčními aktivitami (RA) a mírou depresivity u seniorů žijících v institucionální péči. Hodnocena byla depresivita seniorů a stupeň závislosti ve všedních denních činnostech. Dále byly mapovány postoje seniorů ke stáří a význam RA pro život těchto seniorů. Pro sběr dat bylo zvoleno dotazníkové šetření, studium zdravotní a ošetřovatelské dokumentace a rozhovor podle návodu, který byl zaznamenáván pomocí diktafonu. Byl použit screeningový nástroj Škála deprese pro geriatrické pacienty, index Barthelové a standardizovaný dotazník postojů ke stárnutí a stáří. Prevalence depresivity v celém souboru respondentů byla alarmující. Bylo statisticky potvrzeno, že RA snižují míru depresivity u seniorů v institucionální péči. Největší význam RA vidí senioři v samotném zájmu personálu dozvědět se více o jejich minulosti. |

This thesis is focused on the evaluation of the relationship between reminiscence activities (RA) and the rate of depression among elderly people living in institutional care. The rate of depression and the degree of dependence in daily living activities were surveyed. Furthermore, seniors' attitudes to old age and the importance of RA to their lives were mapped. For the data collection, a questionnaire survey was used, as was study of medical and nursing documentation and interview according to the instructions, which were recorded using a dictaphone. The screening tool, The Geriatric Depression Scale, Barthel´s index and Attitudes to ageing questionnaire were used. The prevalence of depression in the whole area of respondents was alarming. In the examined group it was statistically proven that RA is lowering the scale of depression of seniors in institutional care. Seniors see the highest importance of RA in the interest of staff to find out more about their past. |
