dc.description.abstract	Následující práce je zaměřena na výskyt diskriminace seniorů v České republice. Zabývá se postavením seniorů v minulých stoletích, ale také v naší současné společnosti. Shrnuje základní poznatky o stárnutí a stáří, o věkové diskriminaci - ageismu. Upozorňuje na násilí páchané na seniorech v domácím prostředí, ale také v nejrůznějších zařízeních sociální péče. V neposlední řadě uvádí problémy současných seniorů a navrhuje jejich možná řešení.	cze

dc.description.abstract-translated	The following work is focused on the presence of discrimination against old people in the Czech Republic. It deals with the status of old people in past centuries but also in our present society. It summarizes the basic knowledge of ageing and old age, the age discrimination - ageism. It draws attention to violence committed against the old in the domestic environment but also in the different institutions providing social services. Last but not least, it also brings in the problems of old people in our current society and suggests any solution.	eng
