Inasmuch as the regional economic competitiveness is conditional on a large number of sub-factors, it is useful to focus on the ways of measurement of these factors. The term mezzanine finance is used as a term for hybrid forms of financing that combine elements of debt and equity financing. Mezzanine finance represents an alternative form of financing restructuring activities of companies. The corporate restructuring means the whole reorganization of company, regeneration of all entrepreneurial parts. Corporate restructuring is based on realization of suitable restructuring measures in production, business, organization, information, personnel or financial and property spheres. The quality management systems have their basis in standards and methods; they can be implemented through the quality certificates. The process definition in the form of process modelling is also the necessary basis for data modelling. But these two modelling approaches have various variants of realization. Implementation of these methods has aim – an increase in quality in processes as well as in data and generally quality in the institution. The question is how the tools and techniques of methods are used and utilized. Industrial accidents are often associated with the possibility of leakage of dangerous substances which may harm human health and ecosystem health in the affected zone. The calculation of damage compensation is based not only on physical knowledge of leaked substance and atmospheric phenomena, but it also needs to be familiar with the existing law. It is about forcing the sale of the shares of minority shareholders, the majority shareholder. The Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic dealt with this issue, but his decision is a bit problematic. The mentioned legal provisions need improvement.Článek Otevřený přístup peer-reviewedpublished Public Private Partnership in waste management(Univerzita Pardubice, 2009) Sabolová, VeronikaPPP projects represent large-scale investment projects of building infrastructure. These projects are implemented in the public interest, but with the use of private sector's financial resources. It is also used his knowledge, organizational and innovative potential. The financial performance of such projects is so high that the sectors within the partnership may request a contribution from the Structural Funds of the European Union. But combining the two systems (PPP principles and rules of utilization of EU funds) is not easy, as will be shown at the end of article on the specific example of the environment. The aim is therefore to prove that there are barriers to the participation of EU resources in PPP projects in the environmental field.
