The thesis is aimed at the children´s book Winnie-the-Pooh by Alan Alexander Milne and its possibilities of uses in ELT. The thesis depicts the theory and historical background of children´s literature since the turn of the 19th and 20th century, it also portrays the authors of Pooh bear. In the second half of the thesis follow the research aimed at the real use of children´s literature at ZS Studanka and it is completed by suggested activities which are based on the research results.
