dc.description.abstract |
Today, a strong attention is paid to removing all barriers for impaired people. Utilization of GIS and spatial analyses to identify barriers for physically impaired people in the city of Pardubice (Czech Republic) is described in the paper. All steps of the study are described. Data collection, treatment and verification were parts of the first step. Then, database queries, proximity analyses and network analyses were used to analyze them, find barriers and evaluate friendliness of the city environment for people with physical impairment. |
