Práce studuje možnost přípravy umělých pískovců na bázi alkalicky aktivovaných pojiv (geopolymerů) pro účely restaurování kamenných památek. Cílem práce bylo porovnat vlastnosti různých geopolymerních systémů se třemi vybranými přírodními horninami, které jsou v Čechách běžným materiálem kamenných památek – pískovec z lokality Hořice, Mšené Lázně a Božanov. Celkem bylo testováno pět geopolymerních pojiv, které byly připraveny alkalickou aktivací metakaolinu. Jako plnivo byl použit křemičitý písek o distribuci zrn odpovídající zrnitosti přírodních hornin. U připravených směsí byly popsány zpracovatelské a uživatelské vlastnosti, po jejich vytvrdnutí byly zjištěny jejich mechanické a fyzikální charakteristiky. Směsi byly poté prakticky odzkoušeny pro různé aplikace a vystaveny podmínkám přirozeného stárnutí. Vlastnosti alkalicky aktivovaných směsí s různými typy plniv se svými mechanickými a fyzikálními vlastnostmi velmi podobají srovnávaným přírodním horninám. U všech směsí byla dosažena srovnatelná pevnost s přírodními horninami a mírně vyšší kapilární aktivita pro vodu. Problematická je pouze přítomnost vodorozpustných solí, které mohou značně omezit použití tohoto typu umělého kamene v restaurování, zvláště pak v exterierových podmínkách. Z hlediska zpracovatelských vlastností lze tyto směsi použít pro tvorbu výdusků a kopií. |

The overall goal of the bachelor thesis was the preparation of artificial sandstones on the basis of alkali-activated binders (geopolymers) and to study the possibility of their utilization in stone monuments restoration. The properties of artificially prepared sandstone mixtures were compared with the properties of the sandstone originating from Horice, Msene Lazne and Bozanov locality. These materials are the most common materials used in Bohemia stone monuments art. Five different geopolymeric binders prepared by alkaline activation of metakaoline were tested. The silicious sand with the similar grain size distribution as the natural stones was used as a filler. For each prepared mixture the production process was fully described and after hardening the mechanical and physical properties were measured and evaluated. Finally the mixtures were practically tested for different applications and the results were exposed to the conditions natural ageing. The mechanical and physical properties of the alkali-activated mixtures with various kinds of fillers greatly resemble the properties of natural stones. All mixtures showed comparable solidity with the natural stones and slightly higer capillary activity for water. Contrary to the good agreement of the physical and mechanical properties of the tested mixtures and natural stones, the utilization of the artificially prepared sandstones in exteriors can be strongly limited by the presence of water-soluble salts. However, under certain conditions the tested mixtures can be use for making casts and replicas.. |
