Práce zkoumá vybrané aspekty vztahu jazyka a zdraví. V rámci lingvisticko-antropologické metodiky jsou hledány významy a kontexty vyskytující se v rozhovorech výzkumníka s respondenty v rámci diskurzu o zdraví a nemoci. Analyzovány jsou pojmy nemoc a zdraví. Dále jsou rozebírány výpovědi z vlastní zdravotní historie, charakteristiky osob kompetentních léčit, i situace, kdy jazyk chybí či se objevují komunikační, zejména jazykové bariéry. Respondenty terénního výzkumu jsou Romové, kteří jsou obyvateli Matiční ulice v Ústí nad Labem. |

The thesis surveys selected aspects of the language – health correlation. Meanings and contexts occurring in the interviews about health and illness are investigated within the framework of linguistic-anthropological methodology. The terms ‘‘illness‘‘ and ‘‘health‘‘ are then subjected to a detailed analysis. Further, the thesis focuses on the statements about the informants’ own health history, characteristics of persons competent to heal and the absence of language and communication barriers. The informants interviewed for the study are Romanies who are residents of Matiční Street in Ústí nad Labem (Czech Republic). |
