Součástí práce byla analýza možností uplatnění manažerských přístupů k prosazení environmentálně šetrného cestovního ruchu a analýza úspěšnosti použitých manažerských metod a ekonomických přínosů projektu, který bude realizován v Megháláji, SV Indii.cze
dc.description.abstract-translatedTourism industry may often be related to a revenue generation and a catalysation for development in a region. Developed infrastructure, marketing strategies and logistics including hospitality and accommodation facilities are important for tourism to flourish. The Third World countries are plagued by multiple problems, from poverty to insurgency which is rendered it poorer and less connected than the rest of the world. Such reality is preventing the most of them from realizing their full potential. This diploma thesis concerns the issues of tourism and so called sustainable tourism to be precise in the context of geographic, economic and social aspects of development in a sample village situated in the State of Meghalaya, North East India. Despite of its unique and natural beauties it is still one of the least visited places in India. Thus the thesis analyses the possibility of applying management approaches to promote eco-tourism and assessing the applied management methods and environmental, social and economic benefits of the programme I stood at birth of. It also deals with recommendations of replicating and implementing commonly known eco-friendly models which are suitable for a sample village.eng
