The work is completed with the analysis of lesbian women and their social development in American fiction. The analysis is not aimed only to find the general aspects of the literature dealing with lesbian issues, but is also focused on two representative novels written by lesbian authors, Patience and Sarah by Isabel Miller and Rubyfruit jungle by Rita Mae Brown.eng
