Faktory ovplyvňujúce formovanie a vývoj hospodárstva a obcí v Slovenskej republike

Abstract

The changes in condition, tasks and functions of territorial self-government are a part of the changes, which were caused by demokratization and decentralization in social and economic background in Slovak Republic after 1990. According to the Constitution of SR and the Act about municipal establishment, the municipalities have become the base of the territorial self-government in Slovakia. Gradually the conditions for behaviour of local selfgovernement have been created. Besides the municipality, the subjects which were established by municipality and which we have qualified as the economy of munucipality have become the important part for realization of municipal competences. We suggest, that the economy of municipality is influenced by global and local factors and we document the development of economy of slovak municipalities in the period of 14 years from revilization of local selfgovernment in Slovakia.
