| dc.description.abstract | Tento článek reflektuje texty publikované v tomto čísle časopisu a klade si otázku: co je to „etnografický film“? Jako podoblasti filmové praxe je etnografický film zatížen rolí filmu jako kulturního produktu: zábavy, možná uměleckého díla. V případě dokumentu – informace, publicistika, propaganda. Klíčovým problémem je definovat status etnografického filmu v oblasti kinematografie a vědy, aby mohl být institucionalizován. K této institucionalizaci je nutné vytvořit institucionální zázemí a vytvořit specifický teoretický základ, jehož jádro neleží ani ve filmových studiích, ani v čistě antropologické teorii, ale spíše v interdisciplinární oblasti kulturních studií. | cze |
| dc.description.abstract-translated | This paper reflects texts published in this issue of the journal, and poses the question: what is an “ethnographic film”? As a subfield of film practice, ethnographic film is bur-dened with the role of film as a cultural product: entertainment, possibly a piece of art. The key problem is to define the status of ethnographic film in the fields of cinematography and science, so that it can be institutionalized.
