dc.description.abstract	This thesis deals with the government systems that are portrayed in the dystopian novels The Handmaid's Tale and The Hunger Games. The first part discusses the difference between utopia and dystopia and, afterwards, focuses on common features of the dystopia genre. Also, the first part offers a historical overview of feminism and the development of the position of women in literature. The second part analyses the selected novels and explores the aspects of government systems depicted in the selected books.	eng
