Sociální práce s rodinou, představení projektu „Pomoc ohrožené rodině“

Abstract

The project „EFH“ is organized as a direct social work with a client at his own home. Department of social services, Pardubice Municipality, students of tercial educational system and families kept on file by the social therapists are involved along in the project. It is focused on the families which stabilities are threatened by a complicated life situation, a parent´s low educational credit, alcoholism, family violence, or parents´ mental and physical disability. The students work as the voluntary social workers in the project. The families become involved in the project on principle voluntarily as well and they confirm their approvals with students´ coming by giving their signatures. The expression of family expectations contribution of its cooperation with a student is a part of entrance application form. A student already individually meets a family for three hours a week. He keeps in touch with a social therapist all the time. A family is supported in a way of a project direct social work to be able to arrange situations or moments when it could be made unstable. A voluntar social worker works as a guide who is able to change plain communication stereotypes of members of a family. He helps parents to prepare their children to school /on principle together/, gives advice how to spend their free time in common, or accompanies them within managing administrative issue or looking for a job. An obligatory part of the students´ project is an executive program. The aim is to consider a family as an element which is competent and able to change a way towards to self-salutary mechanism with no distinguishing in every time. The project in the form of its organisation and application offers to its clients the options to understand such an entry to their families as an unaggressive and cooperational institutional help.
